Humility deals with character. So many leaders in the Body of Christ have been greatly gifted by God but allowed their gifting to surpass their character (fruit of the Spirit). God is mostly concerned with our character. We should never allow our character to surpass the giftings God has given us. Put the greatest emphasis on the fruit of the Spirit but at the same time be hungry for the gifts of the Spirit to operate freely. In that kind of environment God can move powerfully in our midst in these last days.

Praise God, if I can truely walk in humility and in the fruits of the Spirit.
Then God can use me to his glory.

I am glad you enjoyed the conference in Nepal. It was great having Randy Clark come and minister there. Here is the lyrics to my song Ultimate Sacrifice.

Ultimate Sacrifice
Words and music by Mark Anderson ©

Verse 1

Listen my friend / The Savior is here His blood was shed / to forgive and to heal

He paid the price/ purchased eternal life We can be made whole/ by Christ’s sacrifice
Chorus
F#m Bm E F#m
Ultimate sacrifice has been made. The power of his blood
    D Bm C#m D F#m
it has stayed to wash away pain and sin, Jesus our sacrifice.
                      Bm E F#m D
Freedom has come for all mankind God’s only son for this world
Bm C#m D F#m
Jesus the one who bore the cross. He did it for the lost

Verse 2
F#m Bm D E F#m
Religions of man / speak much of Jesus Christ.
F#m Bm D E F#m
Written in the Koran/ His birth and miracles
F#m Bm D E F#m
The Torah did say/ He bore our sin
F#m Bm D E F#m
TheVedas say/ The way of salvation
Chorus

Verse 3
F#m Bm D E F#m
Forsaken by His own/ so we could be made whole.
F#m Bm D E F#m
Then He was beat/ spikes through His hands and feet.
F#m Bm D E F#m
Thorns through His skull/ did not make the pain go null.
F#m Bm D E F#m
So we can find life/ through His Sacrifice.

F#M D E
He did it all for you (4X)
Instrumental F#M D E

It is crucial to allow the character to be in line or the gifts can go to your head and cause problems down the road if there is no character to back up the gifts. That is what is happening today to so many. Randy Clark said God spoke to him just before going to Toronto where the Holy Spirit fell “This is the most dangerous moment of your life. If you touch the glory, become proud, fail to stay humble, this anointing will destroy you.”

God bless you Douglas. Glad you liked the book. It is always important to keep in mind that God does not want the gifts He gives us outgrow our character. The fruit of the Spirit is very important and a great foundation for operating effectively in the gifts of the Spirit.

We purchased your book on humillity after you visited our church in WNY. I have read the book on humillity and found it to be very refreshing. I started reading back through the book of Mathew and the importance of the fruits of the Spirit really jump out at me after completing your book. It was always stressed to me about the importance of seeking the gifts of the Spirit, but I beleive I was missing the point. I know that we are to seek first the kingdom of God, and I beleive an important part of that is walking in the fruit of the Spirit. Unless I am off base here, it looks like the gifts of the Spirit can be fully realized if Gods fruit is in full production in and through our lives.
