Mark Anderson Ministries is a non-profit 501c 3 corporation dedicated to spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. Mark and Sharmila Anderson are a world evangelism team. They have traveled throughout many parts of the world ministering together in evangelistic open-air campaigns, seminars, leadership conferences, churches and Bible Schools.
They have also established three charitable outreaches in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India; Karishma Girls Home/Orphanage, Sewing School and Daycare, where they feed, teach educate and provide a home for abused and neglected women & girls. Mark Anderson Ministries also supports many national ministry leaders so they can effectively reach their nation with the good news of Jesus Christ.
Their vision is to reach the unreached! To raise up others into effective ministry. To reach the poor and hurting in unevangelized areas both at home and overseas. They are also committed helping women and girls in India to show them what they can be in Christ.

~2008 YEAR IN REVIEW~
2008 has been a busy as well as fruitful year for both Sharmila and I. We traveled twice to India and once to Costa Rica. In India we reached out to five cities with open-air campaigns, leadership training, music outreaches and some smaller outreaches. In the Zirakhpur and Meerut campaigns approximately 10,100 people came to the Lord. In Costa Rica I taught at the Rhema Bible School.
In the USA we ministered extensively in Wyoming and in a couple of cities in Minnesota. We saw many undeniable miracles both in the USA and India this past year.
We have begun to use contemporary Rock and Country Rock music as an evangelistic tool. While on the road we have seen many powerful miracles occur during times when we were ministering in praise and worship. My first album is almost complete and will be released shortly. It has taken a year and a half of work to bring it to the point of completion. We are believing that this album will bring many to Christ, and also present us with opportunities to minister to the unsaved, especially the youth in India. During our last trip to India I sang and shared Christ in three schools to 3,300 students. We have invitations in many parts of India to do youth concerts combined with salvation and healing.
LOOKING AHEAD TO 2009
Two trips to India have already been planned for India in 2009. We have invitations to reach out to two cities in the state of Uttar Pradesh, which has a population of 160 million, only 1/5 of 1% of whom are considered Christian.
Over the years we have held five open-air campaigns in this state and seen 39,800 people come to Christ in these outreaches. We are focusing on this state because there appears to be a tremendous hunger for Jesus. Our first 2009 outreach is in Barielly, May 4-9th. We will be reaching out to other cities on this trip as well. Pre-campaign preparations begin in January. Our second outreach to India will be in October 2009, in Agra
CHRISTIANS IN ORRISA NEED OUR HELP
Christians in Orissa have been persecuted intensely for several months now. Many have been murdered; thousands of Christian homes, businesses and churches have been burned or destroyed by militant Hindus.
We have learned from our contacts in India that the recent terrorist attacks by Muslims in Mumbai were in part spurred by terrorists having watched the atrocities mounted against the Muslims and Christians by militant Hindus which the local authorities had done nothing to stop. In the wake of this information being made public the government has now begun passing laws that protect Christians and Muslims from Hindu violence. The Indians have risen up and are demanding a change in government. Please pray on this matter.
Your prayers and financial support keep us moving forward and reaching the unsaved in India and the USA. We have a lot on our plate financially in 2009; providing funds for outreaches, keeping the ministries to women and girls running, supporting our workers in India as well as helping Christians in Orissa, not to mention ministry needs in the USA.
