Overseas Open Air
Campaigns-
Mark’s first overseas campaign was in
Ongole, India; where 5,500 responded to receive Jesus as Lord. That was
just the start of the vision God placed in Mark’s heart to reach
unreached cities, and villages. Mark and Sharmila are reaching tens of
thousands throughout the world through open air campaigns.
In these campaigns, many blind eyes and
deaf ears have been opened, crippled healed, as well as people brought
directly from hospital death beds instantly healed by Jesus.
Mark and Sharmila at present have
ministered in 18 countries. They have had many extensive outreaches to
India, Nepal and Nicaragua. In some areas, their campaigns were by far
the largest event to ever be held leaving a lasting impact on that
region. They work closely with Pastors or people with a vision to plant
churches and follow up the new converts. Churches have been planted in
Bulgaria, India and Canada through Mark Anderson Ministries.
Women’s Conferences-
Born and raised in India, Sharmila has a
passion to see women, especially in oppressed cultures, raised up to be
all God has called them to be. She has taught women in India, Nicaragua,
Peru, Venezuela
and the USA on how they can tap into their potential because of Christ
living within them.
Personal Evangelism
Seminars and Hands-On Training-
Mark’s ministry originally started on
the streets of Minneapolis. In Minneapolis, Mark also taught personal
evangelism at his local church of 3,000 people. Not only did Mark teach
personal evangelism, but he shared it as a lifestyle and provided hands
on training.
Churches where Mark has taught on
personal evangelism and church growth have grown as they put into
practice what they learned.
Mark has written a book entitled
“Soulwinning: God’s Heartbeat”. In this book he shares creative ideas
on personal evangelism. Topics included are, who is called to witness,
how to overcome fear, comparing New Testament evangelism to today,
prayer and our spiritual warfare, how to know what to say being led by
the Spirit, how to be a Biblical witness with signs following. Mark
believes in the vision of the local church and gets people to flow with
the vision of their pastor.
National Ministers
Training Seminars-
Mark and Sharmila understand what
ministry leaders go through. Along with that knowledge and their
experience in teaching and evangelism, they train national ministry
leaders during their overseas campaigns and in the USA.
Mark and Sharmila’s desire is to see
people raised up and become much more effective than they are
presently. They feel that in the long run these seminars can be more
effective than the campaigns. Two ministers, after learning from Mark’s
training seminars, went into a small village in Papua New Guinea and met
an old man born a deaf-mute. They put into practice what they learned
by rebuking a deaf and dumb spirit in Jesus’ Name and saw instant
results. This is just one example of the impact of training in National
ministry leaders. Towns and villages have been turned upside down as
ministers have put into practice the teachings of these conferences.
Trained nationals can have a lasting
impact on their country long after the campaigns are over. Mark and
Sharmila believe it is very important to train National leaders because
in some of the countries where they minister doors could shut on foreign
missionaries at anytime.

Outreaches-
Since 1980, Mark
has held salvation/healing campaigns in local churches, auditoriums, and
outdoors throughout North America. Many undeniable miracles have been
reported.
Mark is gifted in
sharing on the principles of faith and building people’s expectations
for the miraculous. Mark does this by simply getting people to focus on
Jesus, His covenant with them, and from an intimate relationship with
Jesus.
Mark and Sharmila
believe in sharing the simplicity of the gospel, that Jesus Christ is
the same yesterday, today and forever. They challenge people to rise up
and become all that God has called them to and that miracles can be a
regular occurrence in their life as they reach out to others.

Aligning our Ministry with World Shakers-
Sharmila and I have been looking for the right ministries or organization to network with over the years. We realize that with whom we network can have a great impact in our life and ministry, especially if it is a God ordained relationship. We did not want to be part of something that is regressing but something that is progressing in the move of God. We have aligned ourselves with Randy Clark, Bill Johnson and Peter Youngren for the following reasons.
This past summer my former Pastor J.R. Polhemus from 'The Rock' Church in Castle Rock, Colorado called to invite me to a conference they were hosting with Bill Johnson and Randy Clark. I was in need of a good faith building conference to be recharged. It had been a while since I had attended a good conference. I was really blessed by the ministry of these two humble men of God who are world shakers and are really down to earth in their approach of shaking this world for Christ. That week the messages really hit home. I witnessed over 1,000 healings take place during the conference along with many other signs and wonders, as the people there were simply hungry for a closer walk with Jesus.
One of the things Randy Clark mentioned at the conference was that the greatest miracles he has ever witnessed in his ministry did not take place when he was praying for an individual; they took place with those he prayed over and imparted to. I could see that clearly. I have never witnessed so many healings in North America in a meeting as I did that week. I have seen the effect on those Randy Clark has prayed over; people like Heidi Baker and Evangelist Lief Hetland to mention a couple. A once burned-out missionary Hiedi Baker has gone on to plant 1,000's of churches in Africa since then and seen people raised from the dead in her ministry.
I believe our recent ministry time in India and the turning point we witnessed there is a result of aligning with Randy Clark and Bill Johnson's ministry and receiving an impartation from Randy. Sharmila and I have become a part of the Apostolic Network of Global Awakening. What drew us to joining Randy Clark's network was the humility I saw in this man of God. We have longed to be part of a network that walks in the humility of Jesus Christ and we thank God for this network that we can be a part of and have fellowship with. God had been preparing us for years to join a network like this.
Another relationship that Sharmila and I have greatly benefited from is the ministry of Evangelist/Pastor Peter Youngren. Peter has been a friend for many years and had a great influence on our ministry. Peter has led many millions to Jesus Christ over the years. What has really drawn us to be in relationship with him is the revelation of Jesus and grace that God has imparted to Peter. We know we are greatly benefited from this teaching and revelation he is sharing (and walking in) with the Body of Christ. We look forward to upcoming years of partnering with Peter Youngren, another one of those shaking this world for Jesus Christ. He also understands it is not about him and his ministry; it‘s all about Jesus.
